tetsujin070561: okonomiyagi: This version of Battle Rice is from Pony Canyon VHS tapes, an official product of Fuji TV. So, it has been seen outside Japan, but not on USA television.

Since were close of this year's Miss Universe 09 in the Bahamas...
(Lots of Luck of Kristen Dalton-Miss USA)
I wonder if the pageant will take place in Japan next year...
Then the pre-pageant challenges will great for next year's contestants...
One of the pre-pageant challenges consists of the following:
The contestants will have to visit one of the Iron Chef's restaurants...(For example...Sakai's La Rochelle)
I'm not sure how big the restaurant is...but the contestants would have to create and present their signature national dishes to ICs Sakai, Chen, Kobe, Morimoto, Flay, Cora, Symon, Batali, Michiba, Nakamura, and Ishinabe and maybe throw in former Miss Universe Riyo Mori, chefs Gordon Ramsey, Roy Yamaguchi, Todd English and Ming Tsai.
Out of maybe over 100 contestants, they will pick 64 of them.
And the 64 of these contestants (USA included - she will be the number one seed) will compete for the coveted title of "Miss Universe Iron Chef" where in the end, the final two will face off with the help of the Iron Chefs of their choice if one of the team wins, she will be automatically compete in the utimate final battle between the winning contestant and the Iron Chef of her choosing in order win the title.
Similiar to the "Mr. Iron Chef" and "King of the Iron Chefs" Tournaments, the lucky gal will earn the Miss Universe Iron Chef title or simply dubbed the "Queen of the Iron Chef Universe."
Are you all with me on this one...
