You know what would be nice to go with this list, RULES!!! Here they are:
1. Five votes will eliminate a player, but I will add a vote for every three divisions that we reach until we hit nine votes. After that, I will add a vote for every two divisions until we top out around fifteen votes.
2. One vote per update. I will try to update around Midnight Eastern(regardless of Daylight Savings). If I update early, feel free to vote again.
3. Any voter who has voted correctly 10 or more times will be allowed to "Seek Revenge" ONE time on behalf of a player. You may bring back any of the last SIX players that has been eliminated, but no voter or player may seek revenge more than once, and this must be done within three days after elimination. This feature will be void when we reach the final five.
3a. You MUST vote a minimum of 7 times during the course of the game to be eligible to vote in the final two. "Jumping In" will be considered a no-no and will be met with your vote not counting, to make it fair to the people who played all the way through. This rule is in place due to the fact that this is the Master Edition of the game.
4. You may vote for a player up to seven times, but you may not vote someone off by yourself, nor can you vote for someone for three days in a row. If a player has “Sought Revenge”, you may have seven more votes, but the above rules apply.
5. The "Sudden Death" option works as follows: Nominate a player for Sudden Death and everyone votes the next day on whether or not s/he is eliminated. Majority rules -- 50-50 tie will always go in favor of the player. No player may face sudden death more than twice, with Sudden Death appeal being used the 2nd time. If a player is brought back, then he or she MUST be voted off the old-fashioned way. Please no more than 3 sudden deaths at a time.
5a. If you think that a player should face Sudden Death again, you can force a Sudden Death appeal. This can only be done if a player has survived Sudden Death. In order for a player to be eliminated via appeal, a 2/3 vote will be required with a minimum of three voters participating in the vote. If the player survives SD appeal, they MUST be voted off the hard way. This feature cannot be used on a player brought back via Seek Revenge!
6. A Freeze Frame can be used up to two times on any player (and only two times, even if someone has been brought back via Seek Revenge). A player protected by Freeze Frame cannot have a vote cast on him or her and will start the second a voter requests that one is used. Freeze Frames will expire in three days (on the third update, so nobody grasps straws over what minute). They cannot be used if a player is either facing or is nominated for Sudden Death. Freeze Frames cannot stack, so one needs to expire first before another one can be used. Freeze Frames become null and void if there are not at least five players left to vote for. A player must have a vote to his name to qualify for a freeze frame.
7. BRE\-/K DOWN!: Subtracts 4 votes (not less than 0). Can use once -- second time allowable if a player has had revenge sought. Does not affect SD voting. Can be used with or during a Freeze Frame.
8. TWENTY-ONE: A Iron Chef related question will be asked that has a numerical answer once 21 players have been eliminated. The winner will be the first person who guessed it correctly or comes closest without going over during the next day. The winner will be able to switch positions of ANY two of the first 21 players eliminated. If they feel that the positions are fine, they may take a free Seek Revenge.
8a. Reverse 21: I will ask a Iron Chef related question when there are 21 players left with a numerical answer. The person who comes closest may replace one of the last 21 eliminated players with a player that is standing. I will allow a seek revenge to be used on a swapped out player.
9. 10-spot. You nominate a player for the 10-spot the same way you nominate a player for Sudden Death. If the majority of people agree, then a player will require 10 votes to be eliminated. you can use 10-spot with any other feature, except you cannot nominate a player for Sudden Death and the 10-spot on the same day. Please no more than 3 10-spot nominations in a day, and all 10-spots will expire when it requires 10 votes to eliminate a player. Also, no more than 10 players can be protected at any time by the 10-spot.
9a. 30-Spot: 2/3 majority required. Will require 30 votes to eliminate a player. A player must have the 10 before you can nominate them for the 30. A minimum of three votes are required before a player can qualify for a 30-spot. (Clarification: If you nominate a player for a 30-spot, and you are the only one who voted the next day, then it is an automatic NO! At least three voters would have to vote on the 30-spot for it to count, in addition to the 2/3 majority)
10. +/- (Plus-Minus) This feature will add two votes to a player's tally while subtracting two from another player's tally. You can not eliminate a player in this fashion, nor can you put a player at or below zero. You may use one plus and one minus per player, but you may NOT cancel a +/- with another +/-. You may also not combine a +/- with a regular vote.
(i.e. The move in Blue is illegal...
a + to Chen Kenichi and a - to Masahiko Kobe
Later: a + to Masahiko Kobe and a - to Chen Kenichi)
(The following move in green is not illegal...
a + to Chen Kenichi, a - to Masahiko Kobe
later: a + to Bill Bickard, a - to Chen Kenichi)
11. CANCELLATION: If you feel that a player is picked on unfairly, then you may use cancellation as a last resort. The following day, a panel of three people, probably Myself, ICM and achen will decide if abuse has taken place. If two out of three agree, then cancellation takes effect and one of the three actions will take place, Automatically validate Sudden Death(appeal is still possible), a bonus freeze frame or an extra Bre\-/k down may be taken. If all three people agree, then True Cancellation will take effect, and three things will happen:
A. Sudden Death will be automatically validated (No Appeal Possible)
B. All Freeze Frames and Bre\-/k downs will count double
C. The player will require 21 votes to be eliminated.
Be careful! Limit two per voter per game, and if the panel unanimously decides that no abuse has taken place, they may opt to award a penalty warning or a strike for delay of game.
12. Penalties: If there is a rule broken, a Strike may be issued to the rule breaker for delay of game, though multiple strikes may be issued for more severe offenses. If you amass three or more strikes over the course of the game, you are forbidden from participating in the final two. [Note: If a severe offense occurs in the Final two, penalty votes may be inscripted in the next game before you become validated for Seek Revenge.]
If you have any questions about the rules, new or otherwise, don't hesitate to PM me.
With that, let the first vote go to Tim Love.
