Sorry AC. It's the same as the first only this time I've woken up several mornings in a row between 4 and 5:30am and can't get back to sleep. On top of that I was forced to make a sig for a clan competition and I hate competing on that forum because there is so many good graphic artists there. I'm tired of hearing my style of art looked down on beause it's not "grunge" enough.
I'm tired and grumpy and not responsible for any rude things I may say today (be warned now).
Please tell me the rest of you are doing better?

I'm actually having a pretty productive day. I managed to get all but one of my out of the house errands done by noon, and I've currently got three loads of laundry in the dryer (one up side to living in an apartment complex with a laundry room). Once that's done and I've remade the bed (sheets in the dryer) all I'll have to do is tidy myself up and get ready to go to the company Christmas party.

Arri - I just thought of something else. A number of years ago, we had a friend who was an artist. He was in the midst of completing his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and had similar troubles with his profs and classmates as you are having with the folks on the other forum. You see, John preferred to paint watercolors of recognizable things (like landscapes) while his classes were all about being abstract. There was a real air of superiority displayed by the "abstracters" for some reason. John grinned and bore it, doing what he had to do to get a decent mark in class, but continued to paint his own way on his own time. I'm sure the last abstract he ever painted was the last one he had to do for coursework.

My day has been quiet, load of dishes done, and I took a nap for an hour. Don't know why I needed to because I slept very well last night. Just plain lazy I guess.

I take the time to learn the other styles just because it makes me better in the ones I like. I've just always prefered clean lines, like a Japanese woodblock print. Japanese woodblocks are actually what inspired me to become an artist. Thanks.

[glow=red,2,300]I'm losing it! Yesterday I bought two bags of balloons for my New Year's Eve party, one bag of gold, from the Party Planet store, one bag of silver, from Walmart. I also bought other party stuff from both places. Guess what! I cannot find either bag of balloons!!! I have all the other stuff but not the dang balloons. I have looked allllllll over this place and not a balloon to be found. I'M LOSING MY MIND![/glow]

Take a deep breath, then take another one and call the store you bought them from. Maybe you left them there on accident.

No, Arri, I remember seeing them when I unloaded groceries, honest. I even checked the cash register receipts and they were on there so I know I bought them. I may have put them in the freezer by accident. Haven't looked in there yet. Ya, I know, old age is setting in. I'm the same age as my heart throb, now. Oh lordy lordy.

Yesterday. Ugh. I went to my doctor because I was feeling very sick. So, I went to the local Walgreens to pick up a prescription that I got from my doctor. When I got out of the car I slammed the door....right on my fingers. I quickly unlocked the door, and stumbled into the parking lot. I couldn't make it through the parking lot. I felt dizzy, sick, and disoriented. I fell in the parking lot, and was unable to get up. Many people passed me by without even asking me if I was OK. By now I had a optical migraine. My vision was terrible. I was seeing in zig-zags. It had been about 15 minuets, and finally an older woman, with her son, came over to me. Her son picked me up, and I finally made it back to the car. It was in the 20' s last night, so it took me a while to warm back up. After a few minuets I said a prayer and made it into the Walgreens. I picked up my prescription, and drove home, thanking God that I was OK.
So, as you can tell, yesterday was my 'horrible, terrible, no good, very bad day.' I'm just glad it is over.

AC, that was a terrible thing to have happen to you. And then for people to walk by and not help you makes it even worse. You probably went into a state of shock from your fingers getting slammed in the car door. I, too, get ocular migrains but that's better than the regular ones, unless you're driving when they come on. As your grandma, I'm soaking your fingers and massaging them to help you feel better. Please feel better soon, poor baby.

Wow, that's pretty bad!
... feel better soon? Do you have any friends who can run errands if you need something?

Thanks for the concerns, guys. Though drowsy, I feel better than I did yesterday. I hope to be over this soon!
