Why "Tears In A Bottle"? I understand the tears part by why the bottle? (I'm very into symbolism. ) I knew I would get this question! When I was growing up, my father was a drunk. Me and my family suffered a lot from the horrific experiences we had to go through. I remember my mother saying that each bottle she threw away, she cried. Each bottle was a reminder of the alcohol, and how it almost destroyed her marriage. So the symbolism in "Tears In A Bottle" is that each time we threw out a bottle it would remind us of the alcohol, which caused the tears. I did have a rough childhood, but I am proud to say that my father is 100% sober today. Praise God!

Congratulations on your father. You are very fortunate. Ok, I went back and listened to it again now that I know why the bottle.... very nice.
