Recently we managed to get a hold of the old "Thundar the Barbarian" TV show from '83. I loved that show when it was one. Now my 4 year old is getting excited to see it. He also loves our copies of "Bravestar" and "GI Joe".
So I was wondering. What shows did you love as a child?

There were two shows (other than Sesame Street) I used to watch when I was a preschooler. They were Canadian productions, both aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). One was a 15-minute show called "Friendly Giant", and the other was a 1/2 hour show called "Mr. Dressup". Sadly, the men who starred in those two shows (Bob Homme and Ernie Coombs, respectively) have both passed away.

I remember most of the shows that have been mentioned already, especially, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock. Those are the two that stand out.
Other than that, I don't remember watching much TV.. (Due to my parents limiting the use of what they called the "Devil's Tool.")

Thank you, thank you. Can't wait for that movie- I'm a huge underground Transformers fan. It's funny you should mention "Joy of Painting," Sanji, because I liked that show a lot, too. Bob Ross was very talented.

It was incredible! Bob Ross had only thirty minutes, and he made a masterpiece every time!

I haven't thought of that show in years! I think my favorite part was watching the contestants try and qualify. lol
