All the food looked outstanding. Batali did such a fine job. The only thing I disliked about Gand was her attitude! Whenever a judge criticized her food, she came back with a nasty remark....that I don't like at all.

Gale Gand sure had some issues.

I just figured she had a sense of humor. She seemed to be having the time of her life. Did she ever stop smiling?
I finally saw this on the re-run. I LOVED IT! The challengers dishes impressed me... until I saw Batali's dishes. I became so hungry. I love this ingredient and to see it highlighted so well!.... mmmmmmm I was not surprised at his low score for plating though. It actually concerned me as I watched the tasting (I was of course rooting for him). Some of his dishes were downright ugly but boy they sounded good. I guess they were with at least one perfect score.

Tramonto/Gand got a perfect score on plating and they definitely deserved it.
