Synopsis-
In a special Iron Chef America presentation, Food Network All Stars Rachael Ray and Giada De Laurentiis come to Kitchen Stadium to battle it out. In a special twist, the Chairman decides to pair them with Iron Chefs Bobby Flay and Mario Batali in an unexpected battle that is only fit for Food Network All Stars. Which pairs’ cuisine will reign supreme?
Prediction #1: A tie for sure. There are the best chefs ever in the Food Network. A perfect score of 60.
Prediction #2: 58-51 in favor of the team of Flay/DeLaurentiis. A Southwestern and Italian flair just works for me. (If I was a judge I can do that)
Prediction#3: 56-52 in favor of the team of Batali/Ray. Hey Italian/Home Cooking thing works well for me too. It's just so easy being a cook who finishes in 30 minutes, right?
Pretty good time to place your predictions now until midnight on Sunday, November 12. I'll let allezcuisine do the spoiler since he knows the secret ingredient. Over to you, AC!

I have to go with Ray/Batali.
Between Flay and Batali I have to say Batali is the better chef. He's also better at working with others from what I have heard (from chefs who know him). While both Ray and Giada do make their own recipes and I'm told are quite good cooks Ray is accustomed to working under a time pressure which new chefs to Kitchen Stadium say is their number one problem. She also seems the least likely to get rattled if/when something goes wrong.
I predict a win for Ray/Batali in the 50's with a good 10 point lead between them.

I'll go with Arrianna's reasoning and prediction of who will win, but I thnk the point spread will be smaller; maybe 5 or 6 points.

Well i would like to point out that: -Flay and DeLaurentis have worked together acouple times in other shows, and I've heard they're even good friends -DeLaruentis went to culinary school, I'm pretty sure Ray didn't

Good point. I had forgotten about that. Make that a 5 point lead.
-DeLaruentis went to culinary school, I'm pretty sure Ray didn't
Ray did it the old-fashioned way of growing up in the bussiness.

Have you guys seen the preview? wms.scripps.com/library/Food_Network/67673.wmvThey show some snippets of Flay's ICJ appearances (including his cutting board scene) And you gotta love Gina's outfit -- essentially a khaki take on Bobby's jacket.

That link ICC posted has a major spoiler in it. If you do not want to see the ingredient, do not click on ICC's link.
(Just thought I'd warn everyone.)
Anyway, thanks for the link, ICC! Great preview!

Nice video! That's hilarious seeing the cutting board incident.
I can't wait for this battle. I'm predicting an easy win for Flay and Giada, maybe even a perfect score. How about... 59 to 56.

Every one has forgotten about the thing that has earned Rachel Ray her bread: Fast home cooked meals. If she can put together a 30 min meal, just think on how many dishes she can put together in an hour. I know that she will meet the five dish requirement easily, and with Batali's presentations, well...
Batali/Ray with a 9 pt. spread.
