Iron Chef America "Lovin'" McDonalds A US television network says a flash of the McDonald's logo, complete with the words "I'm lovin' it" which appeared on a cooking show was a mistake, not subliminal advertising. The episode of the Food Network's Iron Chef America, which aired in the US on Sunday, showed an almost undetectable brief red flash, during a scene in which two men are holding up glasses. The clip quickly appeared on online video-sharing site YouTube, slowed down to frame by frame speed. It reveals the McDonald's logo with the words, "I'm lovin' it." "It was a technical error on our part and not a subliminal message as suggested by a website running the slow-motion playback," Food Network spokesman Mark O'Connor said. "It has been corrected for all future airings." He said the McDonald's logo usually aired when the network showed the program's sponsors . "We don't do subliminal advertising," said McDonald's spokesman Bill Whitman. Iron Chef America is based on the Japanese cooking competition program Iron Chef. ------------------------------- The Youtube video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=amnZX-jjBD8
