I know people who do like it, mostly guys who bbq it. My mom ate it lots when I was a kid. I had it a few times and can promise you I'd not spend good money on it........but that's just my taste.

Lovely spam! Wonderful spam! (SHUT UP!)
Everytime mentions Spam I think of the Monty Python sketch. I should upload it. It's so very silly!

Spam is yummy. It's a Hawaii thing. An old bf of mine once made a small college business of making spam musubi in Idaho and selling them during finals week as a quick meal. N o one knew it was spam unless they asked. And they ALL liked it.
Spam Musubi 1 can spam soy sauce nori (optional) fresh cooked rice
Slice spam into 1/4" thick slices (the long way). Fry in a pan with a little oil and soy sauce until browned and crispy. Make a platform of fresh rice (molded is good, you want it packed tight to keep it's shape - you can buy spam musubi molds online). Place a slice of cooked spam on the rice and wrap with nori. Eat and enjoy.
Spam is still comfort food for me. I don't make it often, but there are days when it's the only thing that will do.
