Well, with tomorrow being the first day of fall here in the US, I thought I'd start this thread. I've been looking for some great Autumn recipes, so post your favorites here. (If you don't have the exact recipe just post your favorite dish.) Thanks!

It's time for me to clean out the freezer and gather up all the leftovers and make soup. Nothing says "comfort food" like a good homemade soup on a cool, dark evening, to me. I have multiple types of cooked meat, will use some potatoes, peas, corn, and beef broth thickend just a bit in the crockpot. I like to turn off all the lights at night, light candles all over the house and watch tv while eating yummy soup. If the wind is not blowing I sit out on the front porch under a thick quilt in the dark, except for some candles, and eat soup, and listen to some pretty music, and drink warm wine. That's when I realize life is good.
