CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED! A NICE, PERFECT BATTLE CANNOT BE RUINED UNLESS IT GETS RUINED! And now the spoiler please...care to scrow down? Secret Ingredient: Wild Boar! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_boarFlay is challenged by the Chef of the Heart of the Lonestar State, Dave Bull. I must say, I never had a wild boar as a gourmet statement until I saw the promo of the show. Chef Bull ought of win this with 6 dishes. Flay will hope it won't happened, hoping to win with his usual 5 dishes. Showing their Southwestern style cuisine, this could be a walk in the park for either of these chefs.

I've had wild boar when I lived in Europe. It was barbqued over an open, had an apple in it's mouth. The meat was yummy and the skin was very crispy and tasted good, too. I enjoyed it.

I've had wild boar and loved it.
As for the battle as soon as I saw the challenger I knew Bobby was going to win. I had no idea he was so young! There's egg on my face. I predicted a close loss for Bobby and instead he won with 6 points, 2 in each catagory. CD looked like he was having the time of his life too.

Arrianna, have you tried the wild boar in your own recipe, or did you have it prepared for you?

It was prepared for me at a luau (no, I wasn't in Hawaii). The closest I've had would be when I've cooked a porkbutt from raw. Not one of these precooked ones you usually see.

I'm sorry, make that an uncooked ham butt. The seasoning process brings it closer to the 'gamey' flavor of the wild boar.
