People listen up, the last two weeks I was off in the spoilers. This time I'm back...same rules no change. If you see the promo, this thread is not for you. Consider yourself warned. Capish? Alright. On with this.... The main theme ingredient for Sunday is.... CORN!As in corn on the cob, ears of corn, kennels of corn. All sorts of corn. Batali may have an advantage here. Now Chef Blais is from Atlanta, GA. Here's his restaurant site: www.onemidtownkitchen.com/home.html

You're wrong. lol
It was chickpeas/garbanzo beans.
That was an awsome battle. I have never seen so many ways to cook garbanzo beans. I have got to try some of those.
Batali won by 3 points on taste.
I nearly died laughing when the challenger pulled out the liquid nitrogen after what I pulled in one battle.

Lol, Arrianna.
I love it when chefs use "extreme" techniques to prepare ingredients, liquid nitrogen being one of my favorite methods.

Yeah, it was kind of funny when they started plating at 25 minutes and Alton was wondering why so soon and I'm all, "of course they have to start plating now they have to make sure all the nitrogen evaporates before they eat".
Of course I winced when the one guy stuck his finger in the liquid while pushing the leaves in....
