A new Morimoto battle and the secret ingredient was: Beets! Something completely foreign to Japanese cooking. Now about the battle.... The challenger is a total space case. I just sat there stunned as he used edible paper, edible packing foam, and a class 4 laser to cook with. ...and he won, by one point. Interestingly enough Morimoto still beat him in creativity. So lets speak of Morimoto. I was amazed at his plating of all the different mouses. The little beet imitation caviar looked so good as well. He was so dignified. It was a pleasure to watch him. Ok, so now everyone else's turn. What did you think of the battle?

Awesome battle. I'd say it was one of my favorite ICA battles, ever. From the start of the battle I had a feeling that the challenger would pull it off.

I cannot believe Cantu outsmart our man, but it's sure was a great battle!

Cantu's platings were not my cup of tea. Too industrial and sterile for it to be real food... Very creative, but not my thing at all.

Well, personally I thought the plating was hideous. Some of them became nice once they were actually put together but the initial plating? ich

I was trying not to be too negative Arrianna. LOL But they looked like you were eating off your laptop computer. No thanks. I give him props for his creativity, but I wouldn't want to eat at his restaurant.
