Ok kids, new episode coming this Sunday, new spoiler! I know it cause I saw it, it's a sweet one too! Ok on with it, shall we? The Main Theme Ingredient This Sunday is..... MANGO!That was easy huh? For the first time,Two mixologists, Tony Abou-Gamin and Bridget Albert invading The Kitchen Stadium along with Chef Robert Gadsby of Noe in Los Angeles and Houston and 676 in Chicago (which I definitely need to check this restaurant out) Ok so the Chairman wants the chef/mixolgist pairing in this sweet battle. Ok, I'm game. Rules are the mixologists must make 5 drinks along with the chefs' 5 dishes. Watch Batali/Abou-Gamin dominate the KS with their drinks and dishes. Final Prediction Score: 55-49

All I can think of is Chairman Kaga saying "MAN-go" in ICJ- one of the best ingredient reveals EVER.

So, what did everyone think? I wasn't surprised at all by the outcome, based on the judges' comments. I certainly would have loved to try the food; I'm not so sure about the drinks, but then again I've never been much of one for alcohol.

Well I know I wouldn't be interested in the drinks buuuut I was very impressed with Batali and Abou-Ganim's professionalism. That is the way meals are supposed to be coordinated.

I agree, Arrianna. While the drinks really weren't my primary focus either, the chefs and mixologists were very professional in their work together. It was fun to watch.

Honestly, I think chef Gadsby was robbed. I thought he would pull it off...

He robbed himself though. There was almost no coordination between him and the mixologist from what I saw. The drinks and dishes also leaned toward the sweet and evidently one of the judges doesn't like sweet drinks. It happens.

Once again, I agree- Gadsby and his mixologist were not as in "sync" as were Iron Chef Batali and his mixologist. Ultimately, that's what did him in.
