I will give this a try. Following the format of misstee. SPOILER TIME! I saw the ingredient a couple days ago but nobody posted it so here goes.... Sunday's Secret Theme Ingredient is: Oysters!Good to eat raw when extremely fresh and not to be eaten with month with out "r". Good in stews or steamed or fried. Briny when eaten raw but should be cooked as little as possible. For which chef will the oyster present it's pearl?

Based on the judges' comments, I kind of expected Cora to win by a bigger margin. Also, there were a couple of the challenger's dishes that hubby noted seemed to use oysters as a garnish rather than the main element.
Bottom line, the food looked fantastic and I'm glad Cora won.

I agree about the challenger not putting his oysters centerstage in some of his dishes. Iron Chef Cora deserved the win overall. Fun battle.

I hate oysters.
Almost. almost, they made me want to try it.

Seafood in dessert? When will they ever learn?! Credits go to Cora for NOT putting oysters IN the ice cream.
I was a bit worried about Cora since she'd already done a clam battle, but she pulled off some great looking dishes. I've actually never had oysters.

I agree. Seafood and dessert do not mix well.
