Was anyone surprised by the final scores? Iron Chef Cora won the battle, but lost in the "taste" category. I'm not sure if a win secured only through presenation points is as significant as a win with taste points.

I was surprised that Cat won. The way the judging was going, it appeared that her dishes weren't up to snuff. You could tell that the judges weren't overly impressed with her dishes. I honestly expected that the challenger was going to win.

Hubby and I thought the same as you did, NFB. I recall only one of Cat's dishes that really made the judges ooh and aah, and that was the "canneloni".

Also, I forgot to mention the return to the old graphics and music in my first post. Were the changes only for the holiday episodes, or will they return next season? I was really enjoying the change.

I hadn't noticed the graphics thing until you mentioned it, MA....good question, though. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
