Recipe Chat needs to moderated in the Food Talk Section of the site. May I have it? The members of the site suggest that Recipe Thread should in separate different catagories. (Main, App, Dessert, etc.)

Certainly you may have it, Misstee. I can't split the recipe chat forum into sub-boards, because the recipe forum itself is already a sub-board, and I can't add another category beneath it. Any suggestions how to handle the situation?

Not the forum MA, Misstee's "Official Recipe Thread". It needs to be sorted.

Oh, poopers. I just went through and made food talk it's own category, with recipe chat and the restaurant guide as full boards. Then I split the recipe chat into sub-boards for appetizers, etc.
I can't really split a thread into different parts. That is, if I'm understanding you correctly.
Well, some good can come of this yet. Misstee, as mod of the food talk area, can move each thread into the correct sub-board. Also, if you were willing to spend the time to do so, you could paste each of your recipes into a new thread in it's proper sub-board in the recipe forum.

Well... I can't say I object to the new "Food Talk" area. (big shock) ..but the subforums are probably overkill and really don't fill the need. I still volunteer to create the necessary threads and would even be happy to sort the "Official Recipe Thread" myself if that's what it takes. I can just credit the source with each recipe.

Well, that's a big job, Arrianna. Are you sure you really want to take that on?

It was my idea. I'm not saying it won't take a little bit... okay alot, but as long as everyone is willing to be patient I'm game.

Well, there's certainly no time slot you have to be done by, so take your time. If you're willing to do it, then good luck!

You're welcome, but it would help if the thread was locked so no one makes any more work for me.
(Can I also say the subforums really need to go?)

You are welcome... ....believe it or not I'm finished. I do need someone to change the title of this thread from Chicken Recipe to "Poultry Recipes". Can someone take care of that? [edit: also AC's Curried Pumpkin Soup & Healthy Pea Soup threads need to be deleted since he's already moved them. Along with The Pan Bagna thread which has been duplicated and posted in the sandwiches thread, the Herbed Potato Bread thread (the recipe was moved to "Baking"), and the Athenian Orzo which was moved to "Pasta"? ] I used as many existing threads as possible and broke down the new ones as I ran into the recipes that needed them. The dessert thread has been broken into multiple threads as well. It should make it easier to find things. [edit: So basically I need these threads deleted (linked): Curried Pumpkin SoupHealthy Pea Soup The Pan BagnaHerbed Potato BreadAthenian OrzoAnd just to reveiw our catagories are: GeneralAppetizers Baking (Breads & Muffins) Beverage & Smoothie Breakfast Curry! (not made yet) Salad Soup Stews & Chili's Sandwiches Main DishesCasseroles Comfort Food Pasta Pizza Vegetable Dishes Beef Recipes Pork Recipes Poultry Recipes Seafood DessertsCakes & Cheese Cakes Chocolate Cookies & Bars Fruit & Cobblers Ice Cream Mousses & Puddings Pies & Tarts RegionalAustrailian Cooking Mexican Cooking SeasonalFall Recipes Holiday Beverages]
