Oh, you should. ;D The only reason I put it under mature content is because it's... scary and dA's a bit persnickety about those things. You don't have to be 18 to see that pic, though. It's not THAT bad. xD
{I would have died before doing anything like that but R rated. Yikes.}

Thank heavens for saved usernames and passwords. xD Aaanyway. I apparently joined ages ago, forgot this board existed, and didn't post anyway. What do you need to know about me? I'm a rabid Iron Chef fan, I log my thoughts on episodes in the form of LJ entries consisting mostly of random quotes and misheard Ohta-speak {like that time I swear he said something about asparagus tits}, I draw a fair bit of fanart {unfortunately, I'm lazy and they rarely get past sketches} and I take deep pride in perverting every single thing that I see. This applies not only to Iron Chef, but to video games such as Dynasty Warriors, movies such as Casino Royale... and shops such as Woolworths. If you haven't guessed by know, I am also very talkative. Typative? Put it like this... You will rarely, if ever, find me lost for words. But please, tell me if I've offended anyone. I'll try to keep on the, uh, straight and narrow around here. If all of that was tl;dr for you, let me sum myself up in one simple picture. toxic-chocolate.deviantart.com/art/I-don-t-feel-so-well-75284465You know what they say, a picture's worth a thousand words!

Does anyone have any clear, colour photos of Komei looking at the camera straight on? I need it for photoshopping purposes...
{I keep losing this site. *bookmarks* Dx}
Google is extreme fail, and gives me bugger all. So, if you could lend a hand, I'd be most grateful. ^^

So it's a toss-up of Anthony Warlow and Colm Wilkinson for Kaga... Any ideas for Chen?

Anthony Warlow! How did I not think of him?! *slaps forehead* I'm an idiot, and you're spot on with him. A nice wig and a lot of glitz, and brava, Kaga.
Wow, um, Young Talent Time... >.>; I'm not sure what he could do either, but I'll keep him in mind.
I like Cate Cebrano, she's rather funny. x3 But I don't think she'd really fit any parts I have so far...

Well a-hey there! I'm always full of new ideas, but I need a lot of help to get them going, so your input would be fantastic!
I think I'll have Chen as the star chef, it seems only natural. Then again, we could have 4 slightly different scripts for each Iron Chef...

Seeing as Rob Evan's page is the only one that's not blocked, I'll say with a dye job, he could be Morimoto. Not sure about Kaga, though. Can he dance?
And Colm Wilkinson... Isn't he Jean Valjean? Wow. He could certainly be Kaga on what I know of his voice and acting alone, but he doesn't quite look the part. I'll certainly keep him in mind, though.
What role were you thinking of for Craig Schulman... ?

Not sure about Grammer's singing, but he looks like he might be able to pull it off. He's a fantastic actor, I know that much. xD
Oh, I have 1 karma point. Awesome.
I think I might've found a good actor for Takata, but I'll have to find out what her name is. >.>

Kangaroo's not that nice... Dx But I'll keep that under consideration. It'd be a pretty exotic ingredient, that's for sure! Oh, how about crocodile... ?
Ohta as in Tadamichi, right... ? Landsbury looks like a good choice for Kishi, thank you! And yes, I was thinking of Shakespearean actors for those two, you read my mind~ ^^

Jon English... That name sound familAAAAAAAAAAH I see. We-ell, I suppose he could pass for Etsuo Joh... Do you know anyone that would be good for Kandagawa? And thanks for all your help, by the way. ^^
{Hell knows I'll need all I can get.}

Well, I'm in Australia, so that'd be preferable, but American actors are easier to find on the internet...
What the most important thing right now is is to choose the challenger, Iron Chef and ingredient.

Oh, it is being created. Like I said, though, not much is going to happen until I figure out the lead roles. * Iron Chef Chinese Chen Kenichi - Tenor The actor who portrays Chen should be plump, quick on his feet {jazz or tap training is a bonus} and have a good sense of humour. If he sweats profusely under spotlights, even better. Ages 30 - 55. * Iron Chef French (II) Hiroyuki Sakai - Tenor Now here's a fun one. Sakai needs to be quite fit but not slim to the point of being skinny. The actor should ooze sex appeal, be a good dancer {more classical than Chen} and should basically be a very refined version of Rum Tum Tugger if you know what I mean. Ages 35 - 65. * Iron Chef Italian Masahiko Kobe - Baritenor {?} The actor needs to sing of youth and boundless energy. Not literally. Should be a very good mover, both classical and jazz dance experience = awesome. Being able to run really really fast a plus. Ages 18 - 34 * Iron Chef Japanese (III) Masaharu Morimoto - Baritenor Hunky. The actor needs to be physically attractive. Like, totally hot. Maybe like, young Marlon Brando kinda footy-player hot. Yeah. Mmm. The actor should be trained in contemporary dance {hip-hop etc.} and jazz. Ages 25 - 37 {Older if you still manage to be hot at that age. } * Challenger Tadamichi Ohta - Bass * Challenger Toshiro Kandagawa - Tenor * Chairman Takeshi Kaga - Baritone The actor needs to have magnetic appeal and stage presence. Doesn't need to be the best dancer, but singing voice must be very well developed and preferably classically trained. Sexiness is much preferred, of course. Ages 28 - 45. * Dr. Yukio Hattori - Baritone Oh god. Um. Non-dancing role. Needs very good projection and a sort of history program style of announcing things. Uh. Ages 40 - 65. * Kenji Fukui(-san) - Tenor Non-dancing role. Experience in commentating a plus. Needs to speak and sing very clearly and powerfully. Improvisation will be a large part of this role, methinks. Ages 35 - 55. * Shinichiro Ohta - Tenor - falsetto The actor needs to be proficient in tap. Experience in other areas useful, but not mandatory. Must be able to speak and sing extremely quickly and clearly, some rapping skills may be handy. The actor must be fairly tall. Ages 19 - 30. * Asako Kishi - Operatic soprano Non-dancing role. The actress must be a trained opera soprano. Scariness is a plus. Ages 60 - 80. ; * Shinichiro Kurimoto - Baritone Non-dancing role. The actor's lines are going to consist mostly of purple prose, so a, uh, skilled tongue is needed to speak clearly. Ages 30 - 45. * Mayuko Takata - Soubrette Ehehehe. Non-dancing role. The actress will need to have a highly variable vocal range, that is, ranging from naturally high to helium heights. She will need to be very delicately pretty and quite short. Ages 16 - 25. Also, Masahiko Kondo is a babe.
