So, did you get anything really neat for Christmas? I got earrings and a couple of necklaces, but about my favourite gift is the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle....I haven't started it yet, but I plan to begin in the next couple of days (as soon as I clear enough space on the table to lay it all out!).

Board games are always fun...when I was a kid, we'd always play board games or cards during winter storms when the electricity would go off.

Thanks! I've made a start; I've got most of the border done. It's a bit tricky, because some of the border pieces have a very small straight edge, and there are non-border pieces that also have small straight edges.

Yes, it is. I've still not got the border completed, but I've filled in some at all four corners. I have a time constraint, as well - it has to be done before my mother-in-law comes to visit in 4 weeks, because I've taken over the dining table.....

So when do you expect it to be complete?
