I'm living in Kawasaki-city, Kanagawa, Japan. I posted comments in some different ways incl. confidential. My own request was: (1) Utillize sous chef as a nominee. My concern is the guy with down-slanting eyes (sorry, but almost crying face) who has been working as a sous chef since the early days of former ICJ in '90s. (2) One-night collaboration with Kaga, Fukui and Ohta. I proposed a story to Fuji to make it. That it was a Kaga's twin brother who died. Kaga was angry because his 2 iron chefs (Sakai & Morimoto) both lost in 21st century battle in 2001 and again Chen lost in 2002 Japan Cup. So he's been on a wandering journey all over the world...shounds childish story?? (2) may be impossible. In Japanese BBS, there were some rumors about the reason of Kaga's leave. His office or Kaga, himself and Fuji had a sort of trouble,etc... But it's 10 years. Wish OK now. Or, actually hard financially for current Fuji. Sorry for my bizarre English always. Miwa

His office or Kaga, himself and Fuji had a sort of trouble,etc... But it's 10 years. Wish OK now. Or, actually hard financially for current Fuji. Sorry for my bizarre English always. Miwa Kawasaki - that's a big place in the greater Tokyo "region" if memory serves. I have relatives in Yokohama, fairly near to you. Thank you for posting on my behalf. Kaga, Fukui and Ohta - that would be fantastic, but I wonder if the producer wishes to remain distant from the original version? The rumors we heard here in the USA around the time after the 21st Century Special is that Kaga-san was very upset with the original producer and Fuji because of the way that it was staged, etc. I remember that some fans claimed that Kaga-san told Fuji TV that he no longer wished to be associated with the post-series specials, and this led to the "fugu death" announcement and the appointment of his "cousin" Motoki-san as the new chairman. I have no idea if any of that is true or not... For what it's worth, I think the new show, after a disappointing opening special, has been consistently excellent, at least as far as the cuisine being presented.

Yup. Kawasaki is a good place to live. You know very well about Kanto (around Tokyo) area! My place is 30-40 min. to Shibuya, Tokyo and Yokohama. Your relatives live in fantastic place! >the producer wishes to remain distant from the original version? You're right. Many of Japanese fans've been saying "Fuji changed the original format a lot." Also the purpose why I put this thread was...I was aiming that the passionate messages from world fans would be a good shot in the arm for Fuji TV. Well, as for this point, I'll follow later into another thread, you know what? Now I'm going to bed...Zzzz I'll be back after waking up.

I committed one more request to Fuji TV's board to change time slot of the air from 8 pm to 10 pm or 11 pm so that more people can easily watch it! (there were some other same comments there)
