So there's this British game show called "The Chase," and I thought it'd be kinda neat to bring over here. Basically it works like this: four contestants play as a team to beat one of the in-house trivia experts, called "Chasers." (Sorta like challenger/Iron Chef.)
Rather than play a full show (which would take a while), we'll just play the individual Chase round between contestant and Chaser--challenger and Iron Chef in this version, because all of the questions will be related to all international versions of Iron Chef.
I'll explain the rules as we go along, but who wants to play? Specify if you'd like to be the challenger or the Iron Chef.

Now that I have a clearer head, here's how we play:
Our path consists of seven spaces:
[ ] [ HIGH ] [ START ] [ LOW ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
The challenger will have a "cash builder" round to start: 12 questions, each worth ¥1,000. That sum is placed on the "Start" position on the board, three steps ahead of the Iron Chef. Five correct answers are required to keep the money safe.
The challenger then has the chance to change his starting position. The Iron Chef will make cash offers to the player--LOW, which requires fewer questions to get right to get home, but is for substantially lower stakes than the cash builder sum; or HIGH, which is for higher stakes but allows less room for error.
Then, I ask a multiple-choice question to both players. Each will PM me their answer. When a player is correct, he moves one step down the board. When a player is wrong, he stays where he is. If the Iron Chef should occupy the same space as the challenger, the challenger is "caught" and the money is lost. But, if the player manages to answer enough questions correctly to get home, the money is safe.
So who wants to play?

I have never heard of the show. Mind giving an example episode so that the rest of us can see how it works? I think that is the only reason why they are hesitant in giving this a whirl.
EDIT: I manage to find a clip online, and I found it to be quite enjoyable. I'm in.

Here's a full episode of the show, in case you need a more concrete example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr0j5k9jcW4OK, Sanji is in. We need one player to go against him. Sanji, would you like to be the challenger or the Iron Chef? And if you're the Iron Chef, you can pick any of the Iron Chefs (original, American, revival, etc.) to play as, or you can play as yourself.

I'll be the Challenger.

All right, while we wait to figure out who the Iron Chef will be, Sanji, tell us about yourself.
After you do, you'll be up against the Cash-Builder Round--quickfire questions against the clock (and by that I mean 12 questions with a deadline of 24 hours). Each correct answer will be worth ¥1,000. Are you ready?

I am 29, and I have been a fan of Iron Chef since my senior year of high school. I am passionate about food, and I study the food with my eyes before eating.

Judges, can we accept "Nanaman"?
(conferring at the next table)
I'm sorry, Sanji, but I can't accept it--the answer is "Nadaman," not "Nanaman," as your answer alters the pronunciation. We can accept Robochon for Robuchon and Dryfess for Dreyfus, however.
Let's see...Masahiro Motoki replaced Kaga in the Japan Cup, Mario Batali actually wore orange, Michiba lost 5 battles, and Michiba was just 62 when he became Iron Chef.
But still everything else was correct...so that's a very good start, ¥8,000! Perhaps you'll be able to earn more depending on what the offers are...but who will you be up against today?
Could it be...the Prince of Pasta, Masahiko Kobe? The prince of everything that's flattened by his pasta machine--and that's including you, by the way...
(audience giggles)
...or maybe it'll be the Artist, Masaharu Morimoto. He's painting a picture of victory that doesn't include you...
(audience chuckles)
...or maybe it's the Szechuan Sage, Chen Kenichi. He'll make sure you can't stand the heat so you'll get out of the kitchen...
(audience laughs)
...or just maybe it'll be the King of Iron Chefs himself, Hiroyuki Sakai. It's good to be the king, and that's why he's not going to let you have a shot at the crown.
(audience giggles)
Who do you fancy taking on, Sanji...or more to the point, who scares the pants off you?

Seeing as I am a pepsi man, Morimoto would be a natural rival. However, as a man who shall remain nameless once said, "To be the man, you have to beat the man." Hiroyuki Sakai, if you please!

Sakai, you say? Well, maybe he's here, but let's find out, shall we? Normally I'd say "It's time to bring on the Chaser," but I think it's only fitting that I say... Yomigaera...IRON CHEF! (Which we still need a player for, I might add...) (An Iron Chef walks down the Chaser's Bridge and takes a seat) Oh dear, it's not Sakai at all...flames of Chinese cuisine abound...for it is the Szechuan Sage, Chen Kenichi! While we're waiting on someone to play as Chen Kenichi, there's your money, eight thousand yen, three steps ahead of the Iron Chef. You can now change your starting position. If you wish to take a step closer to home, Iron Chef Chen will offer you... "A very generous ¥2,500." Aha. Twenty-five hundred. But if you wish to take a step closer to the Iron Chef, and take him on, he will offer you... "Forty thousand yen." How d'ya like that! Forty large, Sanji! [ ] [ ¥40,000 ] [ ¥8,000 ] [ ¥2,500 ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Now, I have to caution you...if you go for the 40, you can only miss two questions before Chen closes the gap and catches you, plus you need six correct answers to win. On the other hand, if you take the lower offer, you only need four right answers, and you can miss four questions before he catches you. But...the decision is yours. What'll it be?

I would like to think that I am pretty knowledgeable about Iron Chef. Let's go for the 40k.

(So I just realized that I erred in Sanji's cash-builder--should've been seven instead of eight. So I guess I gave you "Nanaman" anyway. Not like it matters, since he's taking the higher offer anyway.)
Put it there, Sanji! We're going for the biggun'! Take the other two sums away please, this is gonna be a good one.
[ ] [ ¥40,000 ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
Any thoughts from the Iron Chef before we proceed? (We still need a player to take this spot!)
