(Leaving my podium to take my position behind the cooking station that Michiba-san and I will work in, I stop to autograph the large plastic pear I was holding, and give it to my most ardent fan, a young lady by the name of mickey who has traveled from the US, then pick up a clean white apron and proceed to the cooking area.)

"All right! The ladies have decided to go up against Sakai and Michiba. Hiroyuki Sakai, the Delacroix of French Cuisine. He was the first to mix French recipes with Japanese ingredients. And Rokusaburo Michiba, someone who is known as one of the top Japanese chefs in the country. This should prove to be a top notch battle!"

For today's match, I decided upon an unusual ingredient commonly found in Central America. This ingredient is a red fruit, but it is no apple. Use it as if it were its familiar yellow cousin. We unveil the ingredient!Today's theme is... Red bananas!

(Lizzie and I ran up to the ingredient stand and got as many of those tasty red bananas as possible. We both are shooting for 3 dishes each so that's 6 dishes total. I'm writing down the menu one of them is Red Banana and Rice Pudding. Lizzie is starting the rice cooker for us. Her dish on the menu is Fried Bananas with Black Beans and Rice.)
