(What you just stuck your finger in, Ohta-san, is the mix for the banana souffle. Now I have to make a new batch because the judges seen you do that and it may count against me it I use this batch. (@$&$%**&) Well, there is still time but I need an oven to cook the souffle in soon. Where is my wok, there it is. Now that I've cut up the abolone in small pieces, I will use it to stff the zucchini flowers that Michiba-san asked me to make. Lets see, bleu cheese, ricotta cheese, eggs, soft red bananas and abolone. The stuffed flowers will be fried on boths sides until brown then rolled in crispy fried, crushed red banana and plated to be served with sour cream. This is a dish Michiba-san designed and will be serving.Michiba-san always says "Food has no boundarys", I'm with him.)

Well, I've no time to worry about the banana souffle right now. Michiba-san is working on the stuffed banana peppers and wants me to make the sauce for them. He told me he is making the stuffing from Italian sausage, bread crumbs, parsley, toasted pine nuts, truffles, oregano, garlic and scallons. They will be roasted in a hot oven then plated on a large wooden plate. He wants the topping to be made from a blend of red bananas, olive oil, dry red wine and cream cheese, and served warm over the banana peppers at the table, which he will do when he presents to the judges. Michiba-san will also be serving a fruity merlot wine with this dish.

Misstee (The Bananas N' Cream Soup is done and ready to be plated. I'm adding some chopped edible mint leaves on top. The chicken is done and ready to plate. This baby is gonna to serve over white rice. Lizzie is adding the veggies on top of the rice first, then the chicken and the moment of truth, The chocolate banana sauce, poured it over the chicken and veggies with top it off lots of scallions.)
*Lizzie approaches to Misstee to make the tag, saying the lobster is ready to be chopped*
Lizzie (Shrimp, butter and chives done, check, mashed bananas done, check. Misstee's chopped the lobster into good-looking pieces. Fried Bananas and Black Beans and Rice are ready to be plated, As always the rice is always coming in the plate first. Ohta-san's observing me and sister's creativity in these fine dishes including my beans and rice. I told him It has soy sauce in the beans with scallions and mushrooms. Yummy. And on with the Fried Bananas. Lay 'em on top of the beans and that dish is done. Misstee's done chopping the lobster for the Mashed Bananas and Shrimp and Lobster and Chives and butter. I'm plating this fine looking dish.)

Ohta: Thanks Fukui-san! It looks like Iron Chef Sakai has had a bit of an accident on his side. One of his assistants just spilled all of his mix for a banana souffle. The Iron Chef now has to make an all new mix, but, I quote, "I think I'll have enough time to do it, no than... erm. Yes, he says he'll have enough time to redo it. What a disaster huh? Also, on the challenger's side, you know the sisters' "fried bananas with black beans and rice"? Scallions and mushrooms have been added to the beans, and the beans themselves were coated with soy sauce. Back to you!
THIRTY MINUTES HAVE ELAPSED!
-----------------------Post-------------------------- Okay, guys, the first half is over. Things are going to start moving more quickly now, so anything else important should be done now! -----------------------END---------------------------

Hey Michiba-san, your zucchini flowers are done. I put them in the food warmer until you're ready for them. Now, I am going to have to change horses in midstream here since Ohta-san came back for more of the banana souffle mix and got into a scuffle with my assistant, causing him to spill all the mix. I'm not making a souffle, instead we will have red bananas and cardamon over vanilla ice cream, for desert, besides, I'm the (ice cream king)Iron Chef. So, red bananas, unsalted butter, brown sugar, juice from a fresh lime, ground cardamon seeds for ice cream topping. Ice cream mix, heavy cream, vanilla beans, sugar and a pinch of salt. Prepared the ice cream mix, now into the ice cream maker while I prepare the topping by slicing bananas lengthwise, melt butter in skillet, stir in brown sugar and disolve, stir in red bananas, lime juice and cardamon, lower heat and cover, simmer for about five minutes then cool in refrigerator until ready to serve over the ice cream at the table. This will be decorated with a sprig of fresh green mint.

Misstee (We're half-way there. And Lizzie is getting the rice cooker ready again cause we plated the Fried Bananas with the Black Beans and Rice, and that succulent Soy Chicken with Chocolate Banana Sauce with the veggies. And the Mashed Bananas with Shrimp & Lobster with Butter and Chive Sauce in plated into some big bowls. wow As well as Bananas & Cream Soup with a hint of mint in white china bowls)
*Lizzie can you add some orange slices to garnish the soup, please?* Lizzie: Certainly. Hey Ohta. Check out our Bananas and Cream Soup, don't it taste lovely?
Misstee (While Lizzie impresses Ohta with some Bananas and Cream Soup, I'm on my next dessert. Red Banana and Rice Pudding. The rice is cooking in the rice cooker, so I going to be chopping some bananas and adding some banana pudding mix with some ice cold milk and heavy cream and sugar.)
Lizzie (Our dishes are so finished early. How about a quick pork chops with Banana Creme brulee sauce i still got time. The wok is hot and ready to put some oil in there. I'm using boneless pork chops to cup up into strips. With soy sauce. Adding some freshly chopped shallots and garlic. wooo! Maybe I add a veggie to it, String Beans. Ahh, the pork chops are cooking. I'm flipping the wok just like my big sister. Misstee is smelling the soy and garlic in this pork.)
Misstee: Smells good there, Lizzie! Lizzie: Thanks, just to add another dish, Pork Chops with Banana Creme Brulee Sauce. Misstee: Sweet, we have plenty of time.
Misstee(The rice is ready for the pudding. I'm using a wooden spoon to spoon out the rice and adding to the banana pudding mixture. Stirred so good with perfection. Alright in the fridge so it be cold and ready to serve to the panel.)
Lizzie *Bananas are chopped. Adding some milk and cream and egg and into the blender.* Lizzie (Creme Brulee mixture in the oven for like 15 minutes.)

(Well, I have five dishes prepared, now just to finish cooking those that need to be cooked, and get them plated, and the ones that need to be kept chilled until it's my turn to serve will be plated just before. But one set for show will be done by the time Fukui-san does the final time. Knowing that my #1 fan, Mickey, in the stands has been rooting me on so strongly, she will get the extra red bananas and cardamon over ice cream dish.)

Fukui: "An accident on the Iron Chef side? How are they going to compensate for that?"
Dreyfuss: What's going into the blender there?
Hattori: "Sakai will have to redo his dish while the blender on the challengers' side looks like it has some bananas and eggs."
Fukui: "Ohta, can you ask what's in the blender there?"

----------post---------------------- the drops have worn off and I can see clearly now. -------end post--------------------
Miciba: *Michiba-San has just taken the rice out of the rice cooker, cooled it off with a fan and turned it into sushi rice* *Michiba is making a nigiri sushi roll, with sliced red bananas inside, along with blue fin tuna, and seaweed wrapped around the roll*
*Michiba arranges the nigiri sushi, nicely around the plate with the fish centred on it from earlier*
*Michiba has finished two dishes and is going to aid Sakai, with his cooking to make up lost time from his little err... skirmish with Ohta-San....*

Misstee(15 minutes left...bring out the wines...The Merlot, The Pink Chardonnay and the White Zinfindel, get that chilled in fridge. Man i just got to steal one pork strip out of that wok Lizzie's making.)
Lizzie(Misstee needs to try these pork strips later....hehe, this creme brulee needs some quick heating...how about a flame torch...)
Misstee (ok...i have plenty of time for the Peaches and Red Banana Smoothie. I need some fresh peaches and fresh red bananas ready for the cutting. The Kitchen Stadium assisstant has supplying me the vanilla frozen yogurt and heavy cream and sugar. *Misstee cutting up the bananas and peaches* The assistant also suggest to me that I can use can peaches too. That's a wonderful idea. So all the ingredient in the blender, I won't forget the mint oil. *Misstee blends ingredients for the Peaches and Red Banana Smoothie)
*Lizzie uses the flame torch for the bananas creme brulee.*
Lizzie (I'm about to plate my porkstrip/string bean dish with the banana creme brulee sauce so they can dip the strips in there. I love to garnish with strawberries. Yummy!)
Misstee (hey all the crowds are rooting for us in the royal box during that time...awesome. And my Smoothies are going into the wine glasses, with raspberry garnishings and some straws!)
