Kanou: The coconut curry is wonderful. This dish reminds me of breeze of Thailand when I had curry when I was last there. The octopus has been stewed nice and tender. I just wish that there would have been more of a sweet counter point to this powerful curry.

Again, nothing is overpowering the flavor of the octopus in this dish. I love how the coconut sauce blends in with it. The presentation is very wonderful as well.

Okabe: Octopus and Seafood Soup is our next dish today. It has a tomato base, and has octopus, mussels, and clams in it. White wine is added, and each ramekin is covered by a square of puff pastry. It is brushed with Italian seasonings.

Dreyfuss: MMM, mambo italiano, hehehe. It's such a good soup. Indeed the tomato soup base mixes well with this seafood. I love it when you put real wine in here too.

Kurimoto: I wasn't really expecting the tomato soup to go well with the octopus... but it definitely works. I don't know if I'd order it at a restaurant, but it's unique in its own way. The puff pastry is a nice touch.

Is it just me, or do I taste more of the mussles and clams than the octopus? Other than that, I feel as though the tomato base works well with the seafood trio. All in all, I really enjoy the dish.

Kanou: I must agree with Kishi-san. The flavor of the other seafood overwhelms the octopus and the amount of octopus is lower than the other seafood. As an overall dish I would say that it is good, but as an octopus dish well it is one of the weaker ones you have served so far.

Okabe: I am sorry you feel that way. On to our next course, Octopus Wontons. I filled the first wonton with octopus, some vegetables, ginger, and black sesame seeds. It is served with a tarragon and saffron sauce. To the right of this one is the second wonton, which is filled with finely chopped octopus, cream cheese, onion, parsley, and black truffle. It's fried and served with a sweet and sour sauce. The last wonton is filled with octopus, tofu, scallions, and black truffle. It is kicked up by the black truffle sauce it is surrounded in. Please enjoy.

Dreyfuss: MMM, now this is my kind of dish here. I like it you have a variety to choose from I ate all three of them. It was soo good. All the sauces are pretty amazing.

Kurimoto: I like how you plated the two wantons. You were very elegant in your approach to the design of this dish. I'm not too crazy about the first wanton, but the one with cream cheese and black truffles is outstanding.

Kanou: Great we're back on track with this dish. This dish is perfect and I would like to have more. The second wonton with the cheese would go over great at cocktail parties and a snack at the bar. Wouldn't this dish go well at the next government gala Kurimoto-san?

Okabe: Thank you. The next course is a pallet cleanser I have prepared for you. I blended octopus together with papaya and heavy cream for this dish It was set over ice until the last minute and I topped it with salmon roe. The roe should bring a salty taste and balance all the flavors out nicely. Please enjoy.

Dreyfuss: *laugh* Nice balance indeed. You could've add some mint in here. But it's fine for now. The roe is pretty not my thing though. Sorry.

Kurimoto: I agree, you could have left the salmon roe off. Otherwise, it's a very pleasant dish. The cream and papaya go so well with the octopus.
