JUDGMENT
*Kaga steps into Kitchen Stadium, followed by the judges*
Kaga: Today, a current Iron Chef and an Honorary Iron Chef battled in Kitchen Stadium. Two former allies were turned enemies on the battlefield. I've never seen these two cook with the amount of passion that they displayed today- it was truly a match to remember.
Here's the verdict.
Fukui: Komei Nakamura, the former Iron Chef Japanese, came back to Kitchen Stadium today to take on Iron Chef Chinese Chen Kenichi. The theme ingredient was cellophane noodles, and both chefs created wonderful dishes using the visually unique ingredient. The judges were harsh, and the scores are close! Who takes it? Whose cuisine reigns supreme?
Kaga: Iron Chef Chen Kenichi!
Fukui: He did it! Iron Chef Chen defeated Honorary Iron Chef Nakamura! Truly a match to remember. Now the two chefs embrace each other, a sign that their old friendship has not died despite their rough battle in Kitchen Stadium. Now let's check out the scores for the cellophane noodle battle.
Kurimoto Nakamura 13 Chen 14
Hosoki Nakamura: 13 Chen: 16
Himura Nakamura: 17 Chen: 15
Hirano Nakamura: 15 Chen: 18
Total Nakamura: 58 Chen: 63
Fukui: It was a close one, but the winner today is Iron Chef Chinese Chen Kenichi!

Chen: Yes this was a nice battle. Nice job Nakamura-san. I must try that duck confit dish. Maybe after our next golf outing we'll head over to your restaurant. I was extremely lucky.
-----Post----- This was fun but was tougher than I though. Yes we must try to do this again someday. But not any time to soon! ----End Post-----

Ohta - Well, this battle is history but it will go down as a GREAT battle between two GREAT chefs. Congratulations to both of you, you Chen-san for winning a hard fought battle with a very strange ingredient. But that is what makes you an IRON CHEF. And, congratulations to you, Nakamura-san for fighting with all you have. It's not likely anyone has seen dishes the likes of what both of you have made here today.
