This could be great - I'll keep my fingers crossed. I assume it would be in the original Japanese-language format?

Presumably it will be the same split dub/sub (dub for everyone except Chairman Kaga) style Food Network/Fine Living Network/Cooking Channel had--with the caveat of replaced music (i.e. no Backdraft music).

Do we know this for sure? Fuji TV only dubbed about 200 regular battles or so, so a lot more work would be required to finish the entire series. I don't know anything about FilmRise other than that it is a free streaming service. Does it feature any non-English language programs?

To my knowledge, FilmRise doesn't have any films or TV shows from non-English-speaking countries. As for what FilmRise actually is, it's a free streaming service that is available on most streaming device families such as Roku and Amazon Fire. In addition, FilmRise-distributed content can be found on many different services such as Pluto TV, Tubi and Amazon Prime Video. I included a link to the FilmRise website in my original post where you can learn about some of the shows and movies available through them.

As for which episodes will be shown, it's likely (but not confirmed) that only the episodes originally shown on Food Network/Fine Living/Cooking Channel back in the day will be available through FilmRise.

Perhaps the undubbed episodes will have new subtitles created, but that's just a guess right now.

Well, this is likely the biggest news to drop on this site in a while. I am a little surprised, but pleasantly so.
It's a bit vague if they're bringing every episode from "all 7 seasons," but if they are, I assume they will broadcast them as subtitled versions of the original broadcast. Were ALL of the original episodes subbed when they were shown on the west coast?
Getting the dubbed episodes would likely require negotiations with Food Network, though I guess in the end Fuji can hand those over alone if they chose.
Still, this inevitably leads to other questions - namely, will all the specials be included?
I eagerly await updates. neoblisseyx - thanks for sharing!

All the episodes aired on the west coast were subtitled, if memory serves, up until the 1998 Broccoli battle. That battle and all subsequent battles aired on those UHF stations in Honolulu, Los Angeles and San Francisco were not subtitled, as a result of Fuji Television's objection. Also, if the 'seven seasons' quotation holds true, they would have to broadcast battles from 1997, none of which were ever aired on Food Network.

Straight from the horse's mouth: Dubs only, meaning--presumably--Food Network/Fine Living Network/Cooking Channel versions only.

The fact that FilmRise (almost mixed up the I and L in film) doesn't care about IC's non-dubbed episodes is depressing.

Iron Chef is now live on the FilmRise app on Roku, AndroidTV and other devices.
But, if you want the real IC experience, look elsewhere. The episodes (currently numbering only 77 episodes--from Morimoto's debut to the King of Iron Chefs Grand Final) are based off of the Cooking Channel airings with, for example, Kaga being dubbed over in the challenger intros; or of course, none of the familiar music.
If you have the downloads from Iron Chef Fans before they were taken down, cherish them. That's my opinion.
