This is really a dream you guys listen up....If memory serves me good...I had a great dream. When Kaga-san enters into my house in the middle of the night, with a yellow pepper in his hand. I slept softly as I hear him walking toward my bed. Kaga puts the yellow pepper next to my nightstand and left, hoping that my dream of reopening the Kitchen Stadium will come true. When I woke up seeing Kaga leaving, I called out his name: 'Kaga-san!' He turns around as I get up from my bed and approach to him and gave him a hug saying: 'Thank you, for everything.' Then Kaga said in Japanese. "Your destiny is just begun, enjoy it while you can." We shook our hands and bowed. Kaga left and I went back to sleep. (Let's say Kaga came back and we both kissed, cause that's exactly what happened and boy he's a kisser!) to be continued...

So then where was I oh yes...
If my memory serves me real good...it was about five years in the future where all 7 Iron Chef pictures where standing still in the dark in Kitchen Stadium of course there were fire stands. Me and sister Lizzie was there. Our destiny is to reopen KS. Lizzie and I were in Japan of course. So then, the unthinkable happened...The 7 Iron Chefs ascended from their slumber. These are the invincible men of culinary skills of course. Iron Chef Japanese I is Rokusaburo Michiba. Iron Chef Japanese II is Koumei Nakamura. Iron Chef Japanese III is Masaharu Morimoto. Iron Chef French I is Yutaka Ishinabe. Iron Chef French II is Hiroyuki Sakai. Iron Chef Chinese is Chen Kenichi. And Masahiko Kobe is of course Iron Chef Italian. As Lizzie and I step to see them up close and personal with these Iron Chefs. Another unbelievable unthinkable just happened. When I turned around there's like bunch of sous chefs all around Kitchen Stadium and of course the man of his word...Chairman Kaga. Kaga approaches to me and Lizzie and we all shook our hands. "Welcome to Kitchen Stadium. I'm glad you both can make it," he said in Japanese. "Are we glad to be here too, Kaga-san". I said when Lizzie and I made a blank stare at him. "These are my Iron Chefs that are soon to be yours. You both have a great opportunity to have these Iron Chefs come in your hometown in Chicago to compete against your favorite chefs in your hometown." I was so excited that this happening to us, Lizzie and me. "Kaga-san, we won't let you down, sir," said Lizzie. 'Well then, shall we begin your amazing tour?" Kaga-san said. "Yeah, Let's go!" I said with excitement. (So we went back to Chicago and told our family what happened and Lizzie and I said that we're going to have the Iron Chef Tour in Chicago's McCormick Place then on to the real deal in Soldier Field where the finest chefs from the Windy City compete against the Iron Chefs and of course the American Iron Chefs are invited to compete too. Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, and Cat Cora and brand-spanking new Iron Chefs too. Rachael Ray, Keila Yoshimitsu, Warren Brown and Giada DeLaurentiis. And that is about to happened....in the next dream)

Back to my dream....Where Iron Chef in Chicago is formed at Soldier Field...This is soo interesting. A few challengers are fictional.
If my memory serves me real good...A wonderful destiny of mine has been fulfilled. Iron Chef Tournament is taking place in the Chicago's Soldier Field and Mayor Daley and Chairman Kaga were in their carriage entering Kitchen Stadium inside the Soldier Field. Kaga-san and Daley welcomes everybody in the audience to a tournament that changes Chicago history forever. Daley gave Kaga a very nice yellow bell pepper. Kaga accepts and took a bite of the pepper saying "Let the tournament begin!" in Japanese. And the show did began. Kenji Fukui, Dr. Yukio Hattori and Mayor Daley is at the annouce table catching the action. Kaga came up to the stage introducing me and my sister Elizabeth to the show. Wow. Kaga kiss my hand and Liz's hand. Amazing. "It's great to be here, for sure," I said as we both stare at Kaga with amazement. "This tournament is going to be a moment you'll never forget, enjoy." said Kaga. We both ran into the royal box as Kaga-san introduce a finest chef from Chicago. A chef famous in her serious Chinese and Japanese. She's the head chef at Hunan in Downtown Chicago, Chef Suzi Han-Ota. Shinichiro Ota's wife. So came our first female challenger. Kaga and Han-Ota-san shook hands. Kaga: Welcome aboard. Han-Ota: Thank you glad to be here. Kaga: Downtown Chicago, fabulous area, I visited there a few times. Of course your restaurant serves up a very nice Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Han-Ota: Yes I very creative in a very artistic way as far as my dishes. You'll never forget the taste of my creation. Kaga: Very well then best of luck to you. So now let's meet of the pride of the Gourmet Academy of Japan. Who came all the way to Chicago for this very impressive occassion planned well by my own 2 fans at the royal box. The seven Iron Chefs. 3 honorary, 4 current. Yomagaerie Iron Chefs!
(Fukui-san introduces all the 7 Iron Chefs. The invincible men of culinary skills around the world. You won't believe who she chooses and this is the first day.)
to be continued...

(Fukui-san introduces all the 7 Iron Chefs. The invincible men of culinary skills around the world. You won't believe who she chooses and this is the first day.) to be continued... [glow=red,2,300] Ok, Ota-san choses her competitor, she choses Nakamura-san. (oh boy this could be interesting.) Ok, skip through the battle and the secret ingredient was Lamb. Wooohooo. So Liz and I join the tasting panel along the mayor, Kaga himself, Ozzie Guillen, manager of the White Sox, Sara Moulton, executive chef of Gourmet Magazine and Asako Kishi, Japanese Culinary Critic. And with that said on with the tasting...[/glow] If my memory serves me real good, I sat right next to Kaga, the mayor, Moulton and I was on the right, and Liz, Kishi-san and Guillen were on the left and Kaga was in the middle. Challenger Suzi Han-Ota was first to be judged in front and panel trying out several dishes from her. Some were in need of more seasoning...some were great and some were fantastic. Then onto Nakamura's dishes. Hmmm, I'm very skeptical on his miso-style Lamb Carpaccio. It seems to taste ok. Sara proclaims that his dishes were absolutely improving. I guess I agree with her when I watched Nakamura perform. On with the voting (Sorry, Liz and I did not participate in the voting)...the winner is...Nakamura-San! (What a shock! But it's worth it!) Yes he wins it 74-70. Nakamura-San shook hands with Suzi Han-Ota for a job well done. After the battle, Kaga offer me and Liz some new twists on the show and he invited us for some drinks at the Navy Pier. What an adventure! And that's the first day of the IC festival! to be continued...
