I have a mate who is a huge Iron Chef fan and its his birthday soon, someone told me the other day that there was a shop in my home town (Perth Australia) that you could order in these dolls of the iron chefs, I figured awesome gift right!
I go to the shop "Empire Toys" and they just give me a blank stare the girl there gives me a website where I may be able to order one from (japanese) but no luck.
Does anyone know of a website that might help, ever seen one, any clues, know a shop I can contact etc etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

There used to be a place on the web called dalmations.com that sold IC bears but I tried to contact them several times and they did not respond so I gave up and made my own Sakai doll. You can do it if you've a mind to. Welcome to this site argod.

Mickster, did you ever think about selling Sakai dolls? No, I'm not a profession or even very good at it. I made this one out of love, but it's not something I'd want to do again. Not unless I had the right equipment to make them. I'd like to do something in ceramic once.

Alright, so how long did it take for you to make him?

It took about three weeks for me to make, working all day long and into the late evening on Sakai-doll. I'm trying to get my quik cam to work on my pc so I can put a pic of Sakai-doll for ya'll to see but the thing is not working right, even after reloading the software.

it's a quik cam. The kind that is hooked up to my pc. I have pics of Sakai doll in the files but I need to find them and send to MA so he can share for me. I'll do that.
