Well,
Todd English was Iron Chef American who was challenged by Kerry Simon, in Showdown in Las Vegas segment. Whereas Marcus Samuelsson challenges Iron Chef Italian Alessandro Stratta in the Holiday Battle in Vegas segement. Michael Burger and Anthony Dias Blue were the commentator. Sissy Biggers was the reporter. William Shatner was the chairman of Kitchen Arena. Shatner says: Turn on the heat! not "Allez Cuisine!" when they start cooking. The rules were the same though. They were 4 judges. The Chefs will have one hour to come with 5 dishes, challengers did like six. That's all I can tell you for now.

NO Backdraft (unfortunately). That's disappointing. What's the music like then? Do the ICs rise up on pedestals?

Yep the ICs did rose up from ascension. The music, I don't remember, nothing orchestral about though.
