I prefer subtitles to be on the bottom, myself. I like them to be white, though, unless they are covering a part of the actual movie.

I agree with MA. In fact, we watched a subtitled movie over the weekend; they were on the bottom and white.

I love watching films on the IFC channel that I've got. I like watching the Middle Eastern films best. They're excellent.
When I do watch them, the subtitles are always on the bottom, so I've got no choice.

Independent Film Channel - it's one of the cable channels here in the US.

Our cable company has OnDemand as well. IFC is different from that, though. It tends to feature independently produced films as opposed to movies made by the big studios.

If you mean the type of stuff the Canadian National Film Board puts out, then I believe they do.

On the bottom, unless something important is on the bottom, then on the top.
