Not now. It's offically autumn here (glad the summer's over!). Looking forward to some cooler weather from now on. And I'm glad to say, the fire threat in Victoria is now over (there are fire's still burning, but their all behind containment lines. And with the cooler weather, they are easier to keep under control and put out

Glad to hear the weather is more conducive to fighting those fires. Our winter doesn't officially become spring until the equinox on or about the 21st of March. We had a cold snap here over the weekend (including freezing rain followed by a dusting of snow Saturday night) but it's been getting gradually warmer each day since then - supposed to hit 20C tomorrow.

Furthest thing from my mind, KK And it wasn't really that cold, only just around freezing; it was a lot colder in January.

being a cold weather person, anything would be better than the hot weather we've had here.

Good point...fortunately for you, you're heading to colder weather, while I'm now heading toward the (humid) heat of summer.

For dealing with the heat of summer, I believe. Strangely, Ottawa is more humid in the summer than Nashville - it has higher humidex/heat index readings for some reason. I was quite surprised to figure that out, and I certainly wouldn't want to be without air conditioning in either city in the summer.....

after reading that, neither would I - heat with humidity is worse than a dry heat

I couldn't agree more, KK, after having experienced both types first hand......
