Make a sub-forum if you want, but I'll be avoiding it as a matter of course. I have no desire to participate in any such topics on this board. I have to agree. I'll moderate it closely, comment occasionally, but don't expect me to be a regular poster in a "dark" forum setting.

Hey, watch it, Seph. We know political and war-related topics are dark. That's why we avoid them. It's not that we have no stomach for them- we just don't think they belong. Kitchen Stadium is a place to escape reality, not face its darkest corners. We want to approach this board's creation with as much tact as possible.
Insulting the member community is not the way to get the board made.

Well, this topic is closed. In case you're wondering what happened, Seph didn't appreciate my above reprimand, deleted all his posts, and left the boards. This is what he said that jarred my comment:
"^ People here have no stomach, reality and politics aren't pretty things."
It was looking as if Seph had matured a little since his last stay, but apparently he still hasn't learned how to take criticism. He will no longer be allowed on these boards.
This topic is an example of how political topics ruin message boards. I stand by my original decision- there is to be no political discussion allowed on the boards. Not now. Not ever.
