I was kind of thrown for a loop there, ICC, because no one else signed up to be with the announcers. If you'd rather not participate as both characters at once, I'm fine with you ignoring Masaaki until the judging.

BTW Ohta, since Morimoto has been challenged as a Japanese Chef he is fighting back by using seafood in all his dishes.

Will Morimoto be making a Hokaido type stew? Will there be a fish type curry or a seafood tempura sandwich?
Mamma James what ingredients are you gathering and how many dishes are you planning?
To both chefs: How hard is this ingredient going to be to cook with in your cuisines?

I'll have Hirano speak if someone actually directly addresses him.

Will Morimoto be making a Hokaido type stew? I hadn't thought of that. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.
Will there be a fish type curry or a seafood tempura sandwich? There will be a curry, yes.
How hard is this ingredient going to be to cook with in your cuisines? It will require some creativity so we will just have to see what happens.

Well, Jimmy's got that wonderful artisan bread were using for several of our dishes. He's such a sweet boy, you know, went all the way up there for his little ole momma and brought me back the best bread. And Jonathon- he's my sisters youngest, decided to come all the way over from West Texas just to be my sous chef- has some great looking eggs he found in the cooler right over there. And of course i have some great cuts of beef and pork I"m working with. In the end, I think we have everything we need for 5 dishes.
Oh, shoot, sweetie! A great deal of southern cookin's based around bread. I already have some great ideas. Should be as simple. Now, if youl'e excuse me, I gotta dirty-up.

Yeah, tell me about it. My honest thought was "What have i gotten myself into!" Arrianna has been kind enough to really help me through this. So, if by some miracle i do win this (i'm happy with not embarrassing myself greatly ) she's the one who deserves it.

Mamma James what is in your spice mix? Are you making fried chicken? What other preps are you doing for your other dishes?
Is Morimoto making a squid ink bread pudding? What are your plans with the clams?

Oh shoot, honey! You just can't go around asking a girl what her secret spices are. But since you asked so nicely, I can give you a small hint of what might be in there. There might be cascabel, cyanne, chipotle, New Mexico greens, or pico de pajaro. Course, there's some other things in there too, like ground beans - though you'll have to figure out what kind - some cumin and of course a heaping amount of love...because every good southern mother cooks with love.
BUT....I did put in some fresh anaheim's, serrano's, and and some habanero's...but there already cooking away in there.
Now, i do have some fried chicken going on here but you'll be seeing that in a minute now. And Jimmy over there is finishing up the croƻtons and the suffing for those georgious hens he started soaking for me. He's such a good boy, you know. Can't take my eyes off him for a second...but a good boy none the less.
