21 years is a long time. Andre Agassi's retirement is official after losing to Benjamin Becker in the 3rd round in the US Open today. 7-5, 6-7, 6-4, 7-5. This was such an emotional day in tennis history. I found myself with my mouth open wide while tears streamed down my face. What a sad day. Did anyone else watch?

I didn't - I was on my way home from church. Tennis isn't really my thing, but I can certainly appreciate the long and successful career he had.

No. I don't even understand the game, sorry AC. But I hope you feel better.

I feel that the impact of that moment will be felt in the sports world, let alone tennis. Both him and Pete Sameras certainly have turned my attention to tennis and without them I wouldn't have even heard of Rodger Lederer and Andy Roddick.
It was certainly a good day for tennis.

I'm feeling a bit better today....thanks, Mick. I'm just trying to stay positive, knowing that now he will have more time with his family.
