Ok in the first one, Kaga is essentially comparing the history of the cars' various models in different years to a great menu at a great restaurant. "These were great dishes... these were great cars..."
the second one is hilarious. Kaga's getting a 20th birthday present (he asked for it when he was 10), the Nissan Laurel car. It was his first car! And it follows him through the years. His friends calling him a "bell pepper head" in the car, getting slapped in the face by Kishi-mom for staying out too late.. establishing Gourmet academy with the car in tow... ROFL
