When I saw Katayama, I feared the worst ("it's too oily" every other sentence), but hubby and I were pleasantly surprised by her varied comments and how much she seemed to enjoy all the dishes.

Yes, she seems much more liberal at judging non-Japanese dishes. I was surprised at how much she seemed to enjoy the tasting with all that fat. lol
