I just got the book from the Library yesterday. Boy what a phenomenal experience! Especially the Forward by Kaga-San himself.

alright, I'm going in....now!
Ron Siegel? I'm looking at the icon Ron Siegel? Whoa no wonder you drool on him so much
I'm only have the hots on with Kaga in the front cover, page xii, and Morimoto on page 241.
As for Kobe, in book his first name is Katsuhiko and not Masahiko, wonder why?
Let's not forget the back cover.

I love this book. It's so great- it never gets old. The battle guide is so helpful, isn't it? I think the interviews are well done, too. Can't say I drool over my book like you two, but I do enjoy it immensely.

Well I'm glad you got it, misstee! MA is right; the battle guide is very helpful, I liked that part. Also, the commentaries from the IC's showed the "softer" sides of the IC's, a side we rarely see on the show. The book is a must-read for IC fans I really enjoyed it.

I have the paperback version, which has more pictures and other material. Page 252 in the paperback is Sakai's picture and mini-bio. As for Katsuhiko vs. Masahiko, it's a translation thing. The same character can be translated in more than one way. Also, the original book has quite a few typos. Kobe named his restaurant "Massa" (short for Masahiko) after the nickname he got when he worked/studied in Italy.

I have the paperback and pg 252 is Sakai with his beautiful brown eyes and his georgous self. Wish I was inside his head looking out at the world through those beautiful eyes. Wonder what he's thinking.

How old would Sakai be?

Sakai turned 64 on May 2nd of this year. He was born in the year of the horse, 1942. I was also born in 1942 but I won't be 64 until Dec 10 this year. Sixty-four is not very old, unless you are very much younger. The brain is only about 35 (it thinks young) and,the body, depending on how good a person takes care of it, is also very flexible and strong. I know that Sakai works out regularly plus is very active with things like golf and water sports. He has an awesome body.

Whoa no wonder you drool on him so much As for Kobe, in book his first name is Katsuhiko and not Masahiko, wonder why? Uh, mistee? Methinks mickster has the paperback version. (You could have the hardcover version and that's why you're looking at Siegel instead of a full-pager of Sakai. Which isn't too bad of a picture.) As for your question about Kobe's name, "Katsuhiko" is his real first name. "Masa" is a nickname he picked up and he's been using that ever since. EDITED TO ADD: Crap. I'm the last to get the information to the people who need it.
