I guess it's time to let everyone in on the fun. As most of you already know, we had a problem with stage6 removing over 70 episodes of Iron Chef from our collection without any kind of explanation or warning. Now that Food Network apparently has dropped the show, there really is no way for many fans to see their favorite episodes. Some of the episodes last aired on Food Network over 2 years ago. If you missed them back then, too bad! And now the good news. Watch the video: www.stage6.com/user/Tuthead/video/2165961/New-Site-AnnouncementOr just go there: www.ironcheffans.infoIt's still a work in progress, so any feed back, positive or negative, is certainly welcome.

Absolutely fantastic! This is the resource that Iron Chef fans have been waiting for. The episode organization is fantastic. I could easily find the episodes I wanted to download. Also, the file descriptions are very helpful. The system works great, and being able to download the episodes in .avi format or watch them online is a great feature. My ONLY complaint is that your logo looks rather plain on the main page. It's hard to read the title of your site over the Iron Chefs' portraits. Maybe you should try experimenting with the title and placing it over different parts of the background picture to find where it shows up best. Also, you may want to use Impact font with italics- the official Iron Chef font. Oh, and it took a long time to get my registration link email, but I know that's not your fault. I registered twice because I thought I mistyped my address the first time. You may delete the "Man Alive" account without the exclamation mark at the end of the name.

Update-
When I tried to play an episode in .avi format that I had downloaded, Windows Media Player gave me this message: "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help."
I have Divx and Xvid installed, and watch lots of divx encoded avis on my computer. I don't know why it is giving me this message.

Did you try using the "Watch Video" link? The reason I ask is that it uses the same .avi file, so if it works in the embedded divx player window that opens from that link, then the problem might be with WMP. Perhaps try playing it in VLC, as well.
And thanks for the feedback. I'll work on the header picture and text to make it more readable.

Tuthead, I just tried to register. The email came and I clicked on the link, but I got an error message saying this: Maybe the server is down?

I just looked and you are showing as a "regular user" in the list, so you have been validated. (If you hadn't, I would have seen "awaiting validation") Just try logging in and let me know if it doesn't work.

If anybody has problems with the validation process, just let me know and I can always manually validate the account so you can log in.

I've downloaded the video twice now, and it still won't play saved on my computer. I did download the 1997 battle, though, and that played fine.
