As much as I know some of you shiver when you see this battle, I chose the Homard Lobster battle between Sakai and Tadaaki Shimizu. It was Sakai's first loss ever since joining the ranks of the Iron Chefs and his first crack at Homard Lobster. (The people who select the theme must have had a field day when they chose the theme two more times--once while in France and the other time against Chen to crown the King of Iron Chefs.)

It was a disappointment that IC Sakai lost, I didn't understand why he only had three dishes when there were so many more he could have made. Maybe he was a bit intimidated by Challenger Shimizu, an awesome chef in his own right, and, of course, Sakai-san never worked in France.

Of course it was. Mickey you are Sakai-san's ichiban fan (mickey pm me and I will tell you what it means) Atleast Seafood Sakai tried It'd take a lot to intimidate Sakai-San, after all as of the king of iron chef tournament he is the top chef in the world.
