Hi everyone! My dad and I are long-time fans of Iron Chef (we used to watch it every week on SBS back here in Aus). And for Christmas last month I found a Digital Distractions torrent with 157 episodes on a private tracker site, which I've now downloaded.
The trouble is, obviously, I'm missing *half* of Iron Chef Japan with only that number. I've spent the last couple weeks scouring defunct websites, the internet archive, and private torrent sites to see if I can find a complete set and so far I haven't had any luck. I was especially saddened to learn that ironcheffans got rid of their links only 2 years ago Just missed out!
I know youtube is a possibility and I've had some success with playlists there, but even they have gaps, plus they're all missing that backdraft tune we all know and love.
It would mean a lot to me if somebody could point me in the direction of a full set, or even provide one themself. I'd really like to be able to share the remaining episodes with my father. It was pretty important to both of us when I was growing up.

Also, I'm happy to point people to where I got my set so others can get a collection started if they don't have any! I also have 3 invites for the private tracker I used

I've been speaking to a friend of mine and they might have a full set on an old hard drive somewhere. I will update here if I find anything!

nicolenomicon, that would be amazing! I hope your friend is sitting on a treasure trove. The classic episodes (with the original soundtrack) are far too difficult to come by these days.

I have about 140 battle episodes, almost all in 720p or 1080p, which can be uploaded for free and quick downloads.

Man Alive! I'll report back once I hear something about it from them! I go rock climbing with this person regularly so they aren't going to disappear on me
tetsujin070561 It would be incredible if you could put those up somewhere and send a link through! I'd quite happily compare them with what I have and combine the sets if there's ones I have that you don't and vice-versa!
That's how the torrent I used lists the episodes. Unfortunately no episode numbers which makes things tricky, but let me know if you spot something you think you might not have and I'd be happy to send those over to you if you like!

Nicolenomicon: Are you a Lovecraftian follower? I just downloaded the 1993 anthology film "Necronomicon" and am looking forward to viewing it for the first time. I'll develop a list of my FN dubbed ICJ files, which range from about 400 MB to 1.36 GB. All are 720p, I believe, with the exception of the 1994 Scallop and 1995 Pickled Plum videos. If you have files containing battles I don't have in 720p or better, I would be interested in obtaining them, but my recollection of the digitaldistractions torrent is that they are all 480p at most. I will have to upload to mega.co.nz filesharing host, but I've already begun to post copies of my many videos (220 regular battles and 6 specials) in the original Japanese-language format in 480p there (please see the "Where to get those videos" thread in the main ICJ section here). If you're interested, my ICJ YouTube page is here: www.youtube.com/channel/UCgix1SrrqvRXCEp_txSA2Kg/videos .

Hey folks! It's been a long time since I last posted here (pandemic, moving house etc.) but I've finally got some good news! First, the bad news. That friend of mine can't find that old hard drive. The good news is, I've discovered that the internet archive has a dump of the iron chef fan db as of 2018! I won't post the link directly here in-case that's against any rules, but will respond to any PMs for the foreseeable future on how to find it That aside, I have been meaning to watch that film Tetsujin! Let me know how it was!
