I recently came across these nuggets: fod.fujitv.co.jp/about/www.eien-django.com/ironchef/It seems, as far as I can discern, that Fuji TV has begun streaming Iron Chef Japan episodes in their original Japanese-language format. I don't know if this pertains to the original series (1993- 1999) or the relaunched version (2012-2013) or both. Evidently, this service is not available to those outside Japan. If anyone has any further information about this, please post it here. Have a lovely New Year's holiday.

Okay, I signed up for the service, which required using a VPN and creating an Amazon.co.jp account, only to discover that, sadly, they are only offering the episodes from the relaunched series in 2012-3. Oh well, never mind...

I search the TV listings every couple of weeks for both 料理の鉄人 and アイアンシェフ in case they re-air any episodes. If they get broadcast on regular Fuji, FujiONE, FujiTWO or FujiNEXT, I'll be able to grab them.

If they get broadcast on regular Fuji, FujiONE, FujiTWO or FujiNEXT, I'll be able to grab them. Well done! They used to air the unedited battles on the pay-service SkyPerfect 721 and 739 channels back in the early 2000's. In addition, they also would re-air some of the old specials during the first week of each new year, also in that same time period. You never know, they might pop up again somewhere...

I would love to see more unedited original audio episodes! I'm posting all my videos in the thread "Where to get those..." There are some already there, interspersed with the others. These would be Apple & Chocolate (1995), Asparagus (1995), Egg (1995), and Flounder (1995), with more to come.
