After Yamada's career-ending lethal accident he really hit rock bottom. You would think that winning on Iron Chef would have done wonders for him. It's sad that he's ruining his career once again.
Perhaps he will get a reduced sentences, though drug possession is most certainly frowned upon.

There were photos from 2004/5 of him with Michiba-san at some cooking demonstration or award ceremony.
Hate to break it to you, but ALL kitchens I have worked in there has been a high level of drug use. Chefs are more like Anthony Bourdain than a lot of people like to think ;-)

In New Zealand, I believe, there is a law that all restaurant workers have to take a drug test, as a part of their new anti-drug plan. It's good to see you here, kizm.

Being a chef is a stressful job, got to have something to keep up the pace I guess. Problem is, drugs can be addictive.
