I live on a cul'd sac (sp). There are five houses on the circle and of course, no outlet other than the way ya come in. Behind our houses is open field where people take their dogs for walks and to play. There is an older gentleman, 70ish, who parks his car in the circle everyday and walks his dog down the hill, he has been doing this for at least the past four years I've lived in my home. Today the family across the circle from me had a roll of white carpet in the middle of the street as they are putting it in their home. This gentleman came, parked his car like usual, let his dog out, who went over to sniff the carpet. The woman getting the carpet threw a hissyfit simply because the dog sniffed the carpet, she picked up a big branch and literally beat the gentleman with the branch. She is probably 42. The gentleman went to my next door neighbor and they called the police who sent out two squad cars. The woman tried to hide the branch she beat up the guy with but the police found it, they took dozens of photos of the gentleman. The police questioned everyone in the immediate area. This woman is very hateful and none of the neighbors associate with her. The gentleman will be sueing. I just can't understand anything so stupid as to get that angry, can you?

Think of the positive side... maybe she'll move now.

That's a good bet. Not only did she assault and batter someone, she also is charged with abuse to a senior citizen, and that is another no no. They probably wasted their money putting the carpet in their house after that.

I can understand her getting upset if the dog had soiled the carpet (not that it would justify her beating up the owner), but not if the dog only sniffed it......no accounting for some people.

The carpet probably got more dirt on it by rolling it out in the street. We get traffic there, too, and she certainly would not have the right to stop that, so, another issue, what if someone drove over the carpet? Like you say, no accounting for some people. Even at my age I'm amazed at the actions of some people.

Yeesh. That's just plain stupid. Good for the gentleman that he's going to sue.
There's even another brightside to this: At least she didn't hit the dog.

I saw the gentleman today at our association meeting. His left arm is all sliced up. He is taking her to criminal court and civil court. I told him I'd be happy to present as a character witness against her if he needs. That was just wrong.

You can bet I don't associate with her. Not many people do now since the associate put the word out what she did to (Peter).

Poor guy! If that women was willing to beat an older man, what else could she have been capable of, you know? I'm sure it's been bit unnerving for you.
