Bill Gates, creator of Microsoft, is worth 42 billion dollars. I can't even imagine how much one billion dollars is...Can you?

The real question is...... Who gets it when he dies.

42 billion is a bit incomprehensible.... though if you were a multi-billionaire I guess it wouldn't be so incomprehensible.
That's a good question, Arrianna. Most of the money would remain in Microsoft itself. The rest would go to his foundation and private estate. I guess....
I wouldn't mind if he gave me some of that money....I could retire now...before I even started working. lol.

Please. I can't even imagine what 10K looks like right now, but 42 MILLION? Kurimoto is exactly right, it's just incomprehensible!

And, he has already given 39 billion to some charity, WHEW!!! What would you do with the money if you could spend it anyway you want to? I'd buy the biggest yatch I could find and cruise the world stopping in every friendly port there is.

I know! I was so surprised to hear that he was leaving! It's nice to hear he's going to focus on philanthropy. Ridding Africa of Malaria? It's a big job, but then again, if anyone has the cash to do it, he does.

I've entered for their scholarship a long time ago, I didn't win. But it was worth it.
