Synopsis:
Iron Chef Bobby Flay is challenged by Florida chef Johnny Vinczencz. Will Chef Vinczencz be able to take down Iron Chef Flay? Tune in to see whose cuisine reigns supreme!
Prediction: Flay by a landslide! 56-49 is the score.
It's early. But it's better to place your predictions now until New Year's Day. Because Bobby Flay Marathon is that day!

Misstee, I must commend you for being such a loyal viewer of FN, and ICA. I hope they know this about you. You're really cool! I never watch FN anymore.

I've eaten at Johnny V's in Fort Lauderdale and it is easily one of the area's best restaurants...I think this battle may be closer than you think... Johnny V is also opening a branch in South Beach, where he made his name at one of the hotels there before moving north.

Food Network Canada is also doing an Iron Chef America marathon on New Year's. Doubt if it'll be Flay-exclusive, though.

And an interesting episode it was. You weren't too far off on the score, misstee - good job!
The salmon looked fantastic - that was the dish I most wanted to try.

So, why the heck can't I find Buddha's hand at the Albertson's around the corner?

I completely forgot to watch this battle, it being New Years and all. I didn't think FN would air a new episode on New Year's Eve! Was it any good, guys?

Just to be clear, MA, the battle was on New Year's Day, not New Year's Eve.

I just caught it on rerun, I didn't realize it would be on either.
The food did look scrumptious didn't it.

As always Flay loses on presentation, but his taste was clearly better to the judges. Johnny V just missed with one or two dishes, but I will strongly vouch for his restaurants.
