Same here, but it doesn't hurt doing that again.

It's obvious that Food Network doesn't listen to the fans, but I guess it doesn't hurt.
Truthfully, the chances of seeing an ICJ dvd release is pretty slim. The most we could hope for would be a network switch.

The thing is, I don't think Food Network holds the DVD production rights for Iron Chef on DVD. I think that's still held by Fuji TV.
It may be well to petition one of the anime DVD distributors (like AnimEigo, ADV Films, Geneon, etc.) to see if they can negotiate with Fuji TV about securing ICJ on DVD.

Very good point. TV rights and DVD rights are two seperate things.

That's a valid point. I think if Food Network had the DVD rights to ICJ, they probably would have done it. I mean, it would have been a big seller.

Yes, they already have ICA: Battle of the Masters on DVD. (How many people here own that, BTW?)
Unfortunately I'm not able to get that because they don't ship to Canadian addresses, which is why I'm hopeful FN doesn't have the DVD rights. (At least the Geneon people have a Canadian market.)

Well, ICA and ICJ are two totally different things. Food Network creates ICA independently of Fuji. The set is even in the FN building in New York. ICJ, on the other hand, was made independently of Food Network, and thus Food Network doesn't have the DVD rights to the show.
Oh, and Misstee has the Battle of the Masters DVD set.

I signed it, but, it won't make a difference at all, sadly.
