Well, I tried the pasta machine yesterday.
Memo to self -- I need to visit IKEA soon and get a work table for the kitchen. My counter won't take the clamp on the machine.
Apart from that, it worked great -- I can easily see myself making ramen noodles with this thing.

Memo to self -- I need to visit IKEA soon and get a work table for the kitchen. My counter won't take the clamp on the machine. Hint: go to a hardware store and buy some industrial clamps. The ones that come with the machines tend to be inferior. Proper clamps should let you use your counter. <--Personal experience.

Yesterday, while I was back in Virginia, I had a wonderful meal. I had wild mushroom stuffed ravioli in a sun dried tomato cream sauce. It was excellent.
