Last Sunday Theme Ingredient was............. Parmigiano-Reggiano!Otay, what do you guys think about last sunday's battle? I do believe this is one of Batali's "Last Battles". He did a great job on this dishes, especally his pasta dishes. AND TRUFFLES! Carmellini did a fantastic job too. That soup shot didn't turn on though. I like it when Batali and Carmellini exchanging lots of love though the battle. Alton is sooooo funny when walked around during the battle especially when Batali showed him that huge chuck of cheese in a bowl like position. Alton also showed the ages of that kind of cheese. Very informative I may add. Final Score: 59-55 (i think...i need to see that again!) Any thoughts.....

Actually, the final score was 55-54 for Batali.
The outcome didn't surprise me at all; hubby and I agreed the score would be close but Batali would pull out the win.
What really excited hubby was that neither chef used any fish or seafood in their dishes - he could have eaten all of them and they all looked good!
I agree with Misstee completely on how fun it was to have Alton wandering around the kitchen so much.

Really? I think Alton is a great host. He's funny and knowledgable- not that many people could keep up a running dialogue without any help at all.

Alton's not my favorite, but I'd take him over Brauch any day .
