Kanoh: What a way to close out a meal. Everything is just fine, and it will go great with a glass of wine. Well done.

Chen <presenting the Chinese Vegetable Gazpacho to the panel>: There's crispy noodles on the side if you want some crunchiness to the gazpacho. I use grounded frozen corn for thickness. Enjoy.

Kanoh: This is a nice soup that is nice on a summer day, but most people in America, and other countries will see this as plain and boring. The fried noodles adds a crunchy texture that makes this soup stand out above everything else, I think.

Hirano: The ground frozen corn added a very nice texture to this dish, and the crunchiness from the noodles is a nice addition to the already tasty flavor. A wonderful start.

Takata: mmmmm sweet and spicy. The sweetness brings out all the flavors of the vegetables. I'm sorry Kanoh would consider this a winter dish instead with the heat. I'm starting to "glow". I thought you didn't like spicy foods? Post---------------------- Hehe. I found a connection. EndPost--------------------.

Chen <serving his second dish, Szchuan Beef Stew and Tomatoes to the panel> I like to have a magic touch with the garlic and mint for flavor in the stew. I didn't want to cut the roma tomatoes at all, it's stewed with the rest of the veggies. Enjoy!

Kurimoto: Mmm. This is fantastic. The beef and tomatoes go wonderfully together, and the mint gives it a wonderful flavor. Well done, Iron Chef.

Kanoh: The mint does add a nice bit of aroma to the dish, and everything comes together around the tomato. This is a perfect example of how to add an ingrediant that is not used in a particular cusine like it has been there the whole time
