Ouch. That's really horrible news. Let's hope the show is in fact NOT cancelled and just on hiatus for a relaunch in conjunction with Iron Chef America.
I'm writing to Food Network, so I'll let you guys know when I get a response.
By the way, I've seen this kind of thing happen before- good shows going off the air. I have some serious advice for all of you:
Start taping Iron Chef every night. Record the show while its still on, and save the tapes. Keep as much of Iron Chef with you as you can.

Start taping Iron Chef every night.Record the show while its still on, and save the tapes. Keep as much of Iron Chef with you as you can. I've got a plethora of tapes around my room, and they span from Ishinabe's final regular battle to the 21st Century battles. I don't know what the last episode I have on tape is, nor do I know where I stopped in my episode guide. I'd have to get a new VCR to investigate.

Manalive, what is Food Network's address? They don't have a real address, you have to use the online comment form: www.foodnetwork.com/food/about_us/text/0,1904,FOOD_9777_9310,00.html (copy the whole address into your browser, don't just click on the link, it doesn't work)

If you keep on mass mailing them they will just ignore you. They are busy people so they won't respond right away.

Calm down, I never said that you were. I meant for example not to get something like 200+ people mailing food network with the same question otherwise they won't have time to get back to you.

I just sent my complaint in. Told them that there are millions of IC fans on this planet and we're not going to sit back quietly and let them take IC off the air. I mentioned that we also correspond with the Iron Chefs in Japan and that they would certainly be sad to know the shows are not on anymore. I don't think FN will respond to my mail, but at least they know we are out here, and we don't like what they may be planning. IC SAKAI IS IN THE HOUSE! (in New Orleans that is)

Oi, Oi, Oi, everybody calm down, maybe it is an issue with Fuji-TV, and for some reason they MIGHT have to take it off the air, or they possibly need to renew the rights to air the tv show,

That's a possibility, but nevertheless, Food Network needs to know we care. If we wait to long, than it might be too late.
